Representative job description

We are looking for a Medical Coder to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes from clinical documentation. You will query physicians on incomplete documentation, and maintain coding accuracy against audit standards. Required: hands-on experience with ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, HCPCS, Medical terminology, and working knowledge of 3M Encoder, EPIC, Excel. Preferred: CPC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA). Success in this role is measured by coding accuracy, charts coded per day, denial rate.
